Hype or Hope?
Let me tell you straight up, I never promote anything just for the sake of making money…PERIOD! One thing I learned a long time ago, is that if you can’t share something with someone you don’t or won’t use yourself, than why offer it?

Listen, please! Stop it already with the enforced e-mail forwards! Trying to force (bribe) people to forward your info onto friends & family in order to “build your list” looks amateur in today’s ultra-permission-based world. Especially when you tell visitors nothing about their friend’s or family’s privacy in the space directly next to the e-mail form!

When videos started to grow popular on the Internet in the past couple of years, the Internet Marketing landscape started to change. With increased bandwidth and faster computer processors, gone were the days of waiting for files to upload (Does anyone even use dial-up anymore? I hope, for their sake, they don’t!)
The affiliate marketing arena was not exempt from the impact videos made on the Internet either,
However, the most common mistake people tend to make in affiliate marketing is not capturing the opt-in leads first before sending their visitors to the merchant’s website. Obviously resulting in lost sales and long-term customer relationships, or Repeat sales.
So, what savvy marketers will do is that they would have their own Squeeze Page for the visitors to opt into their list, before sending them to the website they are an affiliate for. I know this may sound like a no-brainer to most online marketers, however, you would be surprised how many still leave out this step (Insane, I know!)
Anyway, the addition of the opt-in page prior to the sales page obviously allows the affiliate marketer to build their own opt-in list and offer additional information & product sales later.
However, a few, but exceptionally street-savvy marketers take the opt-in page to an even higher and more profitable level…
